The Creation
The song came together over time for me. Xavier Isme, the producer for The Way She Talk and I had been in the studio for a while just trying to figure out the connection between us both and how we planned to move forward working with one another. He sent me home with the instrumental, I’d actually met Natanya earlier that day, and knew I wanted her to be on the song.
One day in the studio I heard a track that X made for him and I fell in love with it. I was like.. I neeed to be on this track. Problem was, JM wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with the track lyrically. So after a mini therapy session in the studio, JM kept reciting the words “The Way She Talk” and for some reason those words immediately resonated with me. I went home and wrote the chorus that night.
It did take me awhile to figure out what direction I wanted to move in with the song lyrically. I knew the hook was taken care of, but I struggled a bit to write something I felt was solid. Honestly, once I figured out the flow and delivery, the song wrote itself. We recorded it and brought in Becky Mathai to add the keys to the end, which was the touch the song was missing as a whole, and we ended up making a hit.
For me, what resonated was the familiar feeling of being so infatuated with someone that even something so small such as their mannerisms (the way they walk, talk, etc) even seem to be attractive. I hope when people hear the song they feel sultry and have fun with it but also feel empowered knowing that their essence is worth fawning over as well
I just hope people love the song, just the way we all loved creating and building a connection with one another.

JM Haze is a Philadelphia uptown native but was born in New York City under the Libra sun. This rapper self describes his style as a hip-hop, trap- soul, alternative fusion and often looks up to artists like Jay- Z and Partynextdoor for inspiration. Haze began creating music at 17 years old, after one of his close friends needed help creating a track, Haze stepped in and was hooked. He recorded his first track the next week and the rest is history. JM now has thousands of followers on Spotify and has toured around Washington D.C., New Jersey, New York, and most importantly, Philadelphia. When he's not pursuing music, Haze is a self described "sneaker-head," collecting sneakers, dad hats and hoodies.

Our Mission is to promote and celebrate Temple musical talent by creating and distributing music and media content featuring Temple-related musical artists, and to leverage that content for academic and cultural benefit.
We operate primarily through an undergraduate course – MSP 4687: Recording Industry Practicum. We produce albums & EPs for Temple artists, a live in-studio music TV program Live from Studio G available on our YouTube channel and broadcast by TUTV – Temple University Television, the Bell Tower Podcast, and an intimate monthly live house on campus at Saige Café

Born on April 20th, Brooklyn native but Philly raised-- Natanya’s surroundings have always contributed to her love for music. Staring out in choir and then participating in musicals in school, music has always been the center of her world. With R&B and soul sounds similar to the likes of HER, Jazmine Sullivan, and Summer Walker, she’s hoping that her music will continue to garner new listeners and build a fanbase based on her realness and raw emotion. Through her music and persona, she wants people to understand they don't have to have it all together all of the time and that they should always stay true to themselves.
